The funding is being used to deliver packages of energy saving measures with a focus on insulation and low carbon heating systems such as heat pumps. Packages of energy saving measures are fully funded for owner occupiers and part funded for landlords. To qualify households must:
- Have a gross annual household income below £31,000.
- Rely on oil, bottled gas, electric or solid fuels for heating.
- Have an Energy Performance Certificate rated D-G.
- Own or privately rent.
