Message from Wadhurst Parish Council Clerk: I have just spoken to South East Water re the water delivery for Sparrows Green rec. They have an issue in that the fork lift that gets the pallets off of the truck has broken down! They have called an engineer and are trying to get this fixed so that they can deliver to Sparrows Green Rec (car park).
They have said that there is plenty of water at Mayfield and Rotherfield, and I have expressed my concerns over residents being able to get this.
The mentioned that they have done over 350 direct deliveries to vulnerable people in the area since the water stopped.
If anyone is on the register for being vulnerable, and have not received water, please send me your contact name, number and email and I will pass this on to South East Water.
