Balfour Beatty is working in partnership with East Sussex County Council to manage the highways service across East Sussex. As part of this, we will be carrying out bridge repair works on Blossom Wood Bridge, Buckhurst Lane, Wadhurst.
What we are doing
The works will involve the installation of new parapets.
Work is planned to take place 19-21 July 2023.
This date may be subject to change. If anything changes, we will update you via the signs on site and our website.
The impact on you
Buckhurst Lane will be closed at Blossom Wood Bridge for the duration of the works.
A diversion will be in place via B2099, Partridges Lane, Buckhurst Lane & vice versa.
Weather: All of these works are subject to favourable weather conditions, for example heavy rain may affect the progress of the works.
We would like to take this opportunity to apologise in advance for any inconvenience or disruption this work may cause, however this forms part of our continuing improvement for the East Sussex highway network.
