Please be aware that the following works will be carried out:-
To allow South East Water to carry out apparatus repair works it is necessary to impose the following temporary road closures between the
8th January 2024 to 3rd July 2024. (See anticipated dates of works listed below for each road closure)
C537 Monks Lane, Wadhurst
The C537 Monks Lane, Wadhurst from the junction with the C82 Newbury Lane to the junction with the B2100 Cousley Wood Road, a distance of approximately 737 metres.
The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 1st March 2024 to 15th March 2024.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic signed and maintained for the duration of the works via – B2100 Cousley Wood Road – C82 Newbury Lane and vice versa.
C82 Newbury Lane, Wadhurst
The C82 Newbury Lane, Wadhurst from the junction with the C537 Monks Lane to the junction with the B2100 Cousley Wood Road, a distance of approximately 739 metres.
The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 15th March 2024 to 9th April 2024
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic signed and maintained for the duration of the works via – C537 Monks Lane – B2100 Cousley Wood Road and vice versa.
C539 Three Oaks Lane, Wadhurst
The C539 Three Oaks Lane, Wadhurst from the junction with the B2099 Station Hill to the junction with the C539 Turners Green, a distance of approximately 380 metres.
The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 6th June 2024 to 3rd July 2024
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic signed and maintained for the duration of the works via – C539 Turners Green – C272 South View Road – B2100 Sparrows Green Road – B2099 Durgates – Station Road – Station Hill and vice versa.
U7541 Old Station Road, Wadhurst
The U7541 Old Station Road, Wadhurst from the junction with the C539 Three Oaks Lane to the junction with the U7524 Jonas Lane, a distance of approximately 621 metres.
The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 6th June 2024 to 3rd July 2024
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic signed and maintained for the duration of the works via – U7524 Jonas Lane – B2099 Station Road – Station Hill – C539 Three Oaks Lane and vice versa.
C568 Lake Street, Mark Cross / Mayfield
The C568 Lake Street, Mark Cross / Mayfield from the junction with the A267 Mayfield Road to the junction with the C14 Tidebrook Road, a distance of approximately 2850 metres. The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 17th February 2024 to 1st March 2024
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic signed and maintained for the duration of the works via – A267 Mayfield Road – B2100 Wadhurst Road – Best Beech Hill – C14 Tidebrook Road and vice versa.
U7570 Sheriffs Lane, Rotherfield
The U7570 Sheriffs Lane, Rotherfield from the junction with the C407 Yew Tree Lane to the junction with the B2101 High Cross, a distance of approximately 1221 metres.
The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 8th January 2024 to 16th February 2024
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic signed and maintained for the duration of the works via – B2101 High Cross – Mayfield Road – B2100 Station Road – Catts Hill – C407 Yew Tree Lane and vice versa.
B2100 Mayfield Lane, Wadhurst
The B2100 Mayfield Lane, Wadhurst from the junction with the B2099 Station Road to the junction with the C14 Tidebrook Road, a distance of approximately 1611 metres.
The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 8th January 2024 to 31st January 2024
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic signed and maintained for the duration of the works via – B2100 Best Beech Hill – Wadhurst Road – A267 Tunbridge Wells Road – Mayfield Road – B2099 Wadhurst Road – Riverhall Hill – Frant Road – Station Hill – Station Road and vice versa.
B2100 Wadhurst Road / Best Beech Hill, Mark Cross / Wadhurst
The B2100 Wadhurst Road / Best Beech Hill, Mark Cross / Wadhurst from the junction with the A267 Tunbridge Wells Road to the junction with the C14 Tidebrook Road, a distance of approximately 3764 metres. The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 1st February 2024 to 6th June 2024
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic signed and maintained for the duration of the works via – A267 Tunbridge Wells Road – Mayfield Road – B2099 Wadhurst Road – Riverhall Hill – Frant Road – Station Hill – Station Road – B2100 Mayfield Lane and vice versa.
