To allow South East Water to carry out apparatus repair works it is necessary to impose the following temporary road closures and a temporary 30mph speed restriction(Station Road, Wadhurst) between the 13th May 2024 to 13th August 2024
- C272 Buckland Hill, Cousley Wood, Wadhurst
The C272 Buckland Hill, Cousley Wood, Wadhurst from the junction with the C272 Osmers Hill to the junction with the U7536 Buckland Hill Lane, works are a distance of approximately 20 metres. The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 13th May 2024 to 27th May 2024
Diversion via – C82 Monks Lane – C537 Monks Lane – B2100 Cousley Wood Road – C539 Balaclava Lane – C272 Osmers Hill and vice versa
- U7538 Woods Green, Wadhurst
The U7538 Woods Green, Wadhurst, from the junction with the U7538 Whitegates Lane to the junction with the C272 Osmers Hill, works are a distance of approximately 100 metres. The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 18th June 2024 to 2nd July 2024
Diversion via – C272 Osmers Hill – C539 Balaclava Lane – C539 Turners Green – U7538 Whitegates Lane and vice versa.
3.U7887 Newbury Lane, Wadhurst
The U7887 Newbury Lane, Wadhurst from the junction with the C82 Newbury Lane to the junction with the B2100 Cousley Wood Road, works are a distance of approximately 110 metres. The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 21st June 2024 to 25th June 2024
Diversion via – B2100 Cousley Wood Road – C82 Newbury Lane and vice versa.
4.U7538 Whitegates Lane, Wadhurst
The U7538 Whitegates Lane, Wadhurst from the junction with the U7538 Woods Green to the junction with the C539 Turners Green, works are a distance of approximately 125 metres. The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 2nd July 2024 to 22nd July 2024
Diversion via – C539 Turners Green – U7538 Turners Green – C272 Osmers Hill – U7538 Woods Green and vice versa.
5.U7542 Tapsells Lane, Wadhurst
The U7542 Tapsells Lane, Wadhurst from the junction with the C271 Faircrouch Lane to the junction with the B2099 Station Road, works are a distance of approximately 20 metres. The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 23rd July 2024 to 13th August 2024
Diversion via – B2099 Station Road – B2100 Mayfield Lane – Best Beech Hill – C271 Fairglen Road – Faircrouch Lane and vice versa.
6.U7571 Rotherhurst Lane, Rotherfield
The U7571 Rotherhurst Lane, Rotherfield from the junction with the B2101 High Cross to the junction with the C12 Cottage Hill, works are a distance of approximately 20 metres. The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 10th July 2024 to 17th July 2024
Diversion via – B2101 High Cross – C12 Cottage Hill and vice versa.
- B2100 The Slade, Wadhurst
The B2100 The Slade, Wadhurst from the junction with the U7534 Sleepers Stile Road to the county border, works are a distance of approximately 20 metres. The restriction is anticipated to be in place between 12th July 2024 to 16th July 2024
Diversion via – B2169 Furnace Lane (Kent) – Bayham Road – A267 Frant Road – Mayfield Road – B2099 Wadhurst Road – Frant Road – Station Road – Durgates – B2100 Sparrows Green Road – Cousley Wood Road and vice versa.
- Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction – B2099 Station Road, Wadhurst
To allow South East Water to carry out apparatus repair works, it is necessary to replace the 40mph Speed limit to a Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction from outside a property known as Wadhurst Manor to outside a property known as Marling House, works are a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The speed restriction is anticipated to be in place between 22nd May 2024 to 28th May 2024.
