Free Priority Services Register (PSR)
Who is eligible for the Priority Services Register? Residents who:
- Pregnant or have children under 5
- Experience mental health difficulties
- Have a serious or chronic illness
- Have a disability
- Rely on medical equipment that uses electricity
- Need refrigerated medicines
- Are over 65
Signing up for the PSR takes just 2 minutes and offers numerous benefits:
- A priority number available 24/7
- Text and voice message alerts about power cuts in their area
- Advance notifications of planned power cuts and severe weather events
- Tailored support, such as home visits, hot meals, battery packs, and advice, with updates to friends and family
- In some cases, a free hotel stay with transport during prolonged outages
- Alerts in advance of severe weather to help residents prepare
UK Power Networks work closely with other utilities, so signing up to their Priority Services Register will also unlock free support from the residents Gas Provider, Water Provider and Electricity Supplier.
