Trees have been planted at parks in Wealden to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The panting – carried out by Wealden District Council chairman Councillor Ron Reed – was part of the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee this month.
The QGC has encouraged everyone to play their part to enhance the environment by planting trees across the country.
Earlier this year, two cherry tree saplings were planted in the grounds of Wealden Crematorium in Horam to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Jubilee.
