Strike action on Southeastern network

Strike action on Southeastern network

The RMT union is planning to take co-ordinated national strike action on the following dates between 00:01 and 23:59:

  • Tuesday 21 June
  • Thursday 23 June
  • Saturday 25 June

The action will impact 14 train operators, including Southeastern, and Network Rail.

Only 20% of services will be running

As a result we expect significant disruption on the Southeastern network. Most of our stations and routes will be closed and only 20% of services will be running. There will be no trains outside London, except for Highspeed services between London St Pancras and Ashford International.

Make alternative travel plans

Where trains are not running, you will be unable to travel. Trains that are running will only do so for a limited time during the day and are likely to be extremely busy.

We recommend that passengers plan ahead and make alternative travel plans and we are sorry for the inconvenience and frustration this will cause.

Non-strike dates will also be disrupted

Services will also be affected on the days following the industrial action, particularly in the mornings.

Please also be aware that Transport for London are expecting industrial action on the tubes and other TfL services on Tuesday 21 June until mid-morning Wednesday 22 June. Visit the Transport for London website for more information.

Timetables available on our website

The timetables for next week are available on our website and will be showing in journey planners 2 days beforehand. We recommend making alternative plans, but if your travel by rail is absolutely necessary please check before you travel as many routes will be closed and the service operating will be severely reduced.
