Message from East Sussex Highways: I am writing to advise that we will shortly be carrying out works to remove road studs and adjust ironworks on Mayfield Lane, Wadhurst prior to surface dressing works later in the summer. These works will start on Monday 7th June 2021 and continue for 3 nights. During this time, Mayfield Lane will be closed to through traffic between 7pm and 5am each night from A267 to Station Road. Traffic will be diverted via A267 Tunbridge Wells Road, A267 Mayfield Road, B2099 Wadhurst Road, B2099 Frant Road, B2099 Station Hill, B2099 Station Road and vice versa.
