Wadhurst Parish Council employed the services of Broad Oak Tree Consultants to carry out an assessment of the trees that the parish council are responsible for.
Their assessment and report led to a tree works application being submitted to Wealden District Council.
Following approval from Wealden District Council, and inspection by an ornithologist, the trees requiring removal at Sparrows Green recreation ground, will be felled today (25th July 2022) and removed.
