The parish council are delighted to advise that a defibrillator has been installed in a telephone kiosk at Woods Green, Wadhurst (on the junction with Wyck Lane).
This telephone kiosk is privately owned. The owner very kindly offered for it to be used to house a defibrillator, and even refurbished the telephone kiosk prior to the installation.
A training session run by Community First Responders was well attended by local residents.
The defibrillator is very easy to use and gives full instructions if required in the event of an emergency. It should be noted that a shock will not be administered unless required, so please never feel worried to use (in case of an emergency). And ALWAYS DIAL 999.
