Thank you to all those who attended the showing of HM The Queen’s state funeral yesterday. It was lovely that people were able to come together to watch the ceremony.
Thank you very much to the trustees of the Commemoration Hall, who kindly made the hall available for the event free of charge to the community.
Thank you to volunteers from the Commemoration Hall, including Jemma Pantrey and Jane Austin, who served refreshments alongside Cllrs Andrea Tincombe, Serena Gadd and Claire Moore.
A big thank you also to Queen Alfred Cakes who generously donated delicious cakes for the occasion and to Paddy McFarlan and Wadhurst Community Cinema, who screened the event expertly.
