Festive Travel Highlights
Together with Network Rail, we’re spreading a little Christmas cheer by making train travel as smooth as possible this festive season with no major line closures in Kent. Most routes will be running as usual throughout the holidays, with some ticket restrictions lifted to encourage more people to ditch the car. Off-peak fares will apply every day between 27 December and 1 January inclusive – perfect for festive outings and New Year celebrations. We encourage you to check your full journey in advance as some operators are impacted by engineering work, including Thameslink services through central London. Plan Ahead for Christmas Travel
Check your journey and get the best fares on the Southeastern App or online journey planner. Here’s to a Bright 2025! As we bid farewell to 2024, a year filled with progress and achievements, we look forward to an even more exciting year ahead. Our commitment remains steadfast: to build a better, more reliable, and sustainable railway. Our ambition is to deliver better performance at a lower subsidy. From all of us at Southeastern, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
