Sadly, the old wooden troughs in the High Street need replacing before next spring 2021. Recently one has fallen apart and had to be removed, and the others are in various state of disrepair. We invite all young carpenters and/or gardeners to build new wooden troughs for use in the High Street. The criteria for all troughs are; they must hold four plant pots and be the same size as the current ones. (Internal size is Length 122 cm, width 31cm, Height 24cm)
If you wish to make one or several troughs, please contact the clerk via email at clerk@wadhurst-pc.gov.uk and advise us how many troughs you would like to build, a breakdown cost of material and labour and when you expect to complete the project. Note If we get more than five, we will ensure they get planted out next spring.
