Are you claiming what you are entitled to?
Residents living in Wealden are invited to a benefits service drop-in session in Crowborough on Wednesday 5 April.
Taking place at Crowborough Community Centre, Pine Grove, Crowborough, TN6 1FE, from 9.30am – 4pm, the drop-in day aims to support residents to ensure that they are claiming for what they are entitled to.
Wealden council has hosted other sessions since last year in Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and Pevensey Bay.
Among the other organisations which will be on hand to give advice will be ESCC IT Learning – to help people with basic IT skills, East Sussex Fire and Rescue’s community engagement team, Crowborough Citizens Advice Bureau and People Matter, a Wealden-based charity supporting residents looking for employment.
The council will also have its benefits and council tax team and housing support officers available.
Residents do not need to pre-book an appointment.
